Category A1 (125 cc)
(from age 16) in Zürich
The Motorrad-Grundkurs for category A1 (125 cm3) is mandatory and lasts 12 hours in total. For legal reasons it has to be completed on three different days with a scooter / motorcycle / electric vehicle with a cubic capacity of no more than 125 cm3 and an engine output of no more than 11 kW (not 50 cm3).
Please note that your learner driver permit is only valid for 4 months! Only once you have attended the Motorrad-Grundkurs is your learner driver permit extended by a further 12 months.
